I would like to use this site to pass on tips and information about technology, specifically about computer maintenence and keeping your system running well.
About me: I am a 20 year Coast Guard retiree, married with 1 daughter. I went into the Coast Guard right after High School and became a radioman. While I was on active duty our technology went from Morse Code to computers. I have been to computer training with Hewlett Packard and have attended the NASA Astronaut Memorial Foundation's Systems Administrators Course. Computers have always been one of my hobbies (expensive one too) .
I came to CCJSHS as a volunteer in 2000 and that led to a permanent position within 1 month. I love my job, because every day is something different (some days too different!).
I try my best to keep up with all your needs, but many times there are more pressing needs and I have to prioritize what needs to be done. So if I dont get to you right away please understand.
If I could ask one thing, please email me if you are having issues and I will put you on my worklist. Sometimes if you catch me in the hallway and tell me something, I may be in the middle of something and I forget it. With an email I wont forget you and you will go on my list. Thanks.
